Industry Brief

We also had to choose one of the 3 industry projects, which are ALT, where we'd have to promote digital conference; NJAS for which we have to create our own product to display in the UAL gift shop; and lastly NOBROW, where, at the beginning the brief revolved around a mythological character, but that has been changed to creating a double page spread illustration for Duke Ellington or for a chosen musical icon.

At first I was extremely excited to work for NOWBROW, even started researching them, their website, Instagram, also thinking of ideas for it, which character to choose, how to make it more interesting, as I have always been fascinated by unique characters with a backstory. Sadly, the client had to change this brief and decided to focus on musical icons, which would make a great project as well.

Taking everything into consideration, I wanted to work with NJAS, as designing a product and having the opportunity to sell it in their shop was very beneficial and impressive to me, I have never done this but I do always think of new products that could be sold in different scenarios. After reading the brief multiple times, I started being really excited again, having so many ideas about this already.
